Abstract

This study examines the development of the education system in Kyrgyzstan during the 1920s to 1950s, taking into account the social and political changes that occurred in the republic within the framework of Soviet state policy. Special attention is given to the elimination of illiteracy, the establishment of mass schooling, the creation of a network of educational institutions, and the training of teaching personnel. The study analyzes the conditions under which the education system evolved during the Great Patriotic War and the postwar period. Based on archival materials and scholarly sources, the research identifies key trends, achievements, and challenges that accompanied the development of educational policy in Soviet Kyrgyzstan.
