ON SOME HISTORICAL ASPECTS OF GENDER CONSTITUTIONAL AND LEGAL ANALYSIS

This article introduces gender analysis, which is essential for effective gender mainstreaming and is a recognized tool in the social sciences, and is used to identify and examine the different roles, opportunities, and power dynamics that exist between women and men in specific contexts. The analysis confirms that it allows identifying manifestations of gender inequality, determining the reasons for their existence, and looking for ways to eliminate these manifestations. Some historical aspects of the formation of the institutional sphere for the implementation of gender equality and women’s representation in government bodies are also considered.
